Paddyfest Performers

Miles Nielsen & The Rusted Hearts

Rockford, IL-based Miles Nielsen has spent nearly a decade enthralling audiences with music that draws force from the prime years of Western-influenced rock music and classic ‘60s soul. Claiming influences as diverse as Otis Redding’s classic soul and Jellyfish’s cult power pop recordings.

The Tooles

The Tooles are a three-piece band based out of Madison, Wisconsin. Amy on fiddle. Lee playing guitar and bass. Kurt thumping on bodhran and guitar, but not at the same time.

Everybody sings. Loudly.

Frogwater is the acoustic musical pairing of John and Susan Nicholson. Renowned for their musical virtuosity and exuberant live performances, they like to think of themselves as musical ambassadors, and describe their style as “eclectic acoustic peoples’ music”.

What happens when a classically trained musician crosses paths with a roots-music maven? The answer is ‘Trinadora.’

We season our vocals with keyboard, ocarina, concertina, harmonica, and guitar accompaniment.

Danny’s Gone Rogue

Danny grew up in a first generation Irish American family influenced by the songs and attitudes of his Irish relatives. Proud of his heritage he learned not only the traditional Irish tunes he had heard growing up, he embraced the new Irish and Celtic music being introduced into the American music scene.
