An Irish Marching Society Production
The Irish Marching Society in conjunction with Katie’sKup is hosting Irish Singer Danny McDade to kick off St. Patrick’s Week on Thursday, March 9th at 7pm to 8:30. Doors open at 6pm so come early as seating is limited. A $10 free will donation is suggested, proceeds to benefit the school of Irish Dance in Rockford. There will be a BONUS guest performance so don’t miss this one.
Danny grew up in an Irish American family influenced by the songs and attitudes of his Irish immigrant relatives. Proud of his heritage Danny Plays many of the traditional Irish songs and tunes plus the newer Irish and Celtic songs making the music scene. He throws in a few tunes he just likes as well. Danny has played in Irish bands in the past but now is “gone rogue” to help others who are looking for the craic. Danny resides in Rockford, IL where he promotes Irish and Celtic culture via the Irish Marching Society.
